She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church of Jena. She was born October 3, 1937 in Tensas Parish to the union of John and Lilly Allen, Sr. Services were held Friday, October 31, 1997 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church near Jena with Revs. Fox Paul, Albert Vickers and Preston Holder officiating. Burial followed in the Woodland Cemetery near Jena under direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday. Survivors include five step-sons, Delman Morace of Dallas, Tx., Joey Morace, Tony Morace, Eddie Morace and Ritchie Morace, all of Houston, Tx.; three brothers, John Allen of Ferriday, Vernon Allen of Bay Springs, Miss., and George Monroe Allen of Baton Rouge; one sister, Nora Wiggins of Starksville, Miss.
