MORGAN, Betty Jean

   68, of Shreveport, died Sunday September 28, 1997 at Schumbert Medical
Center in Shreveport.

   She was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, a
graduate of Byrd High School and attended Centenary College.

   Services were held Wednesday, October 1, 1997 at St. Luke's United
Methodist Church in Shreveport with the Revs. Jim Huber and Sandy Huber
officiating.

   Interment followed in Forest Park Cemetery on St. Vincent Avenue in
Shreveport under direction of Rose-neath Funeral Home of Shreveport.
   Survivors include her husband, George R. Morgan; her mother, Betty Quarles;
two sons, Mike Morgan and Scott Morgan; one daughter, Kathy Stanfield, all of
Shreveport; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
