MARTIN, Cashonda N.

 Cashonda N. Martin, 17, of Columbia, died Wednesday, March 4, 1998, in
Columbia Heights.

 Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, form the Grayson Baptist
Church with Rev. Harrel tucker officiating.

 Interment followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery near Clarks under direction of
Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

 Cashonda was born on September 28, 1980. She was a senior at Caldwell Parish
High School.

 She was a member of the Girls State Program, a member of the American Legion
Auxilliary, a volunteer assistant at the Caldwell Parish Pre-School and an
employee of Frances Family Resturant in Columbia.

 Survivors include her father, Willis G. Martin of Grayson; her mother, 
Charlotte Martin of Wharton, Tx.; her sister, Holly Roxanne Martin of Grayson;
her step-sister, Casey Jarrett of Grayson; maternal grandparents, Gil and
Linda Lovelady of Columbia; maternal grandfather, Charles Meredith of Clarks;
maternal great-grandfather, Kermit Thomas of Rhinehart; paternal grandparents,
John and Shirley Martin of Grayson; and paternal great-grandfather, Talmidge
Ashley of Ferriday.

 Pallbearers were Benji Masters, Chad Roberts, Bryson Griffin, John David
Cameron, Cody Hill and Jeremy Carter.
 Kenny Masters and Shane Meredith served as honorary pallbearers.
