David D. Morris

Lt. Col. (Retired) David D. Morris, 83, of McLean, Va., died Sunday, May 3,
1998, in Potomac Center of Arlington, Va.

He was a member of the Georgetown Baptist Church.

Lt. Col. Morris retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1971, and later retired
from the U.S. Army Finance and Accounting Center at Ft. Benjamin Harrison,
Indianapolis, In. In 1990.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 8, at Georgetown Baptist Church
with the Revs. Hartman Sullivan and Brian Hill officiating.

Interment followed in the Zion Cemetery of Georgetown under direction of
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include one sister, Maxine L. Wilson of Huntington Beach, Calif.;
and two brothers, Nathan W. Morris of Georgetown and Ottis C. Morris of Ft.
Smith, Ark.

Pallbearers were David Morris, James Guillotte, Larry Morris, John Morris,
Patrick Morris and Barney Tully.
