Joe Leon McAdams

Joe Leon McAdams, 56, of Port Sulphur, died at 11:35 p.m., Sunday, June 21,
1998, at the Union General Hospital in Farmerville.

He was a mining supervisor and of the Baptist faith. He was born January 8,
1942 in Tullos to the union of Marvin and Lois Davis McAdams.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 25, at the Tullos First Baptist
Church with Rev. James Brown officiating.

Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery near Tullos under direction of
Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include his wife, Sue McAdams of Port Sulphur; three daughters,
Shirley Goodwin of Vacaville, Ca., Debbie Schaubhut of Marrero and Michell
Harris of Doyline; one son, Michael Joe McAdams of Port Sulphur; two brothers,
Jackie McAdams and James "Buddy" McAdams, both of Roxie, Ms. and seven
grandchildren.
