She was a homemaker and member of Shady Grove Pentecostal Church. She was born January 2, 1896, in Gainesville, to the union of Spence and Alice Barrett Ray. Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 22, at the Shady Grove Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Dan Davis, Karl Doughty, and Joey Paul officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include one daughter, Myrtle Collins of Nebo; two sons, Ray Masters of Jena and J.D. Masters of Searcy; three foster daughters, Barbara Bryant of Jonesville, JoAnn Coleman of Leesville and Janie Powell of Jena; two foster sons, Virgil Flowers of Baker and Jack Dunn of Nebo; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jarred Wright, David Wright, Steven Masters, Elton Tolbert, Darren Floyes, and Marcus Francis.
