Darryl K. McGuffee

Darryl K. McGuffee, 55, of Grayson, died Monday, January 4, 1999, at his
residence after a brief illness.

He was a retired field foreman with Freeport-McMoran Oil Company and a member
of the Clarks Baptist Church. He was born at Enterprise on April 19, 1943.

Services will be at 2 p.m., today (Wednesday), Jan. 6, at the chapel of Riser
Funeral Home in Columbia with the Revs. Jack McKeithen and Ed Smith
officiating.

Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery near Grayson under
direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Taylor McGuffee of Grayson; one son, Dane
McGuffee of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Kin Thames of Grayson and Dawn Girod
of Clarks; his parents Ancel and Ruby McGuffee of Enterprise; one brother,
Cary McGuffee of Olla; two sisters, Sharon Isonhood of Enterprise and Rita
McGuffee of West Monroe; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sonny Dyer, Wayne Clark, Frank Sheppard, Curtis Roark,
Glen Ainsworth and Carl Vickers.
