Edith Morris

Edith Morris, 81, of Jena, died at 10:09 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 1998, at
Hardtner Medical Center of Urania.

She was a homemaker and was born March 10, 1917 to the union of Tom and Annie
McFarland.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 19, at Pine Grove Baptist
Church of Rhinehart with the Revs. Preaton Holder and Scotty McDowell
officiating.

Interment followed in the Huffman Cemetery of Manifest under direction of
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Lessie Mae Chapman of Jena; one granddaughter
and two great-grandsons.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Boothe, Casey Harrell, Wince Morris, Ricky Morris,
David Neal and Brian Sikes.
