McDaniel, 70, of midway, died Monday morning. He was a taxi cab operator. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Midway Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. G. R. Nolan, officiating. Interment followed in the Providence Memorial Cemetery of Winnsboro with arrangement by Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Pearlie McDaniel; four daughters, Mrs. Ida Mae Stucky of Rayville, Mrs. Edna Jagers of Norman, Okla., Mrs. Marione Ulmer of Winnsboro and Mrs. Marie Locke of Shreveport; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
