Ruth Morton

Ruth Morton, 92, of Lewisville, Ark. died at 3:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28,
1989 at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, Ark.

She was a homemaker.

Services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Smith's Funeral Home
of Lewisville with Revs. J. W. Bobo and Jim Crabtree officiating.

Burial followed in Wilson Cemetery of Lewisville under direction of Smith's
Funeral Home.

Survivors include three sons, Curtis Morton of Jena, P. D. Morton and Nye
Morton Jr., both of Lewisville; five daughters, Sybil Simpson, of Lake
Charles, Mildred Bailey, Melba Evans, Jean Bennett and Nellie Parks, all of
Lewisville; 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Donald Morton, Roger Morton, David Morton, Leon Morton and
Keith Morton.

Honorary pallbearers were 15 great-grandsons.
