She was a retired restaurant owner, a member of Utility Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and United Daughters of the Confederate. Services were held at 2:00 p.m Thursday at Utility Baptist Church with Revs. Paul Cain, Jeff Hoffman and Ralph Webber, officiating. Burial followed in Locust Grove Cemetery of Utility with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Johnson and Mary Jo Williams, both of Wildsville; two brothers, Albert A. McClure and J. V. McClure, both of Jonesville; and a sister, Ethel Parker of Sulphur; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Neal Welch, Charles Wood, Butch Ganey, John McClure, Paul McClure, Tommy Joe McClure, Johnny McKey, Rodney Calhoun and Jackie Taunton.
