Mrs. Murphrey Died Wednesday At Tullos Home

Mrs. Rena Evelyn Murphrey, 65 year-old Tullos resident, died about 7:00 p.m.
last Wednesday, June 7, at her home. She was a housewife.

Services were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 1978, at the Tullos First
Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Coda Salters, officiating.

Burial followed in Pine Hill Cemetery of Urania under arrangements by Hixson
Brothers Inc., of Urania.

Survivors include her husband, Mack Murphrey of Tullos; three daughters, Mrs.
Margararitte Williams of Georgetown, Mrs. Francis Snow of Tullos and Mrs.
Nettie Evelyn Jackson of Salmen, Indiana; four sons, Jodie Murphrey, W.T.
Murphrey, W.M Murphrey, and Lawrence Murphrey, all of Tullos; one half-
brother, Carl Splawn of California; one sister, Eluera Mitchell of Woodville,
Texas; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
