Norvin Aldige McDaniel Sr.

Norvin Aldige McDaniel Sr., 62, of Jena, died at 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, January
31, 1990 at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania.

He was an oil field foreman and member and deacon of Pine Grove Baptist
Church.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the
Revs. Preston Holder, Lawrence Hailey and Jessie Norris, officiating.

Burial followed at Woodland Cemetery of jena under direction of Hixson
Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha Sandifer McDaniel of Jena; a son, N. A.
McDaniel Jr. of Jena; a daughter, Jean M. Patrick of Chicago, Ill.; a sister,
Maudell Torres of Miami, Fla.; his mother, Grace Knight McDaniel of Jena; and
two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were the deacons of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
