J.V. McClure

J.V. McClure, 73, of Jonesville, died at 5:40 a.m. Friday, August 10, 1990 at
the Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.

He was a retired farmer in Catahoula Parish.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Utility Baptist Church near
Jonesville with the Revs. Joe Roudtree and Woody Rimes, officiating.

Burial followed at Young's Cemetery in the Sandy Lake community near
Jonesville under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include two sons, John H. McClure Sr. and Albert L. "T-Bud' McClure,
both of Jonesville; a daughter, Donna Maxine McClure of Jonesville; a brother,
Albert A. McClure of Jonesville; a sister, Ethel Parker of Sulphur; 13
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tommy Joe McClure, Paul McClure, Charles McClure, John
McClure Jr., Glynn Butts Jr. and Forrest Moore.

Honorary pallbearers were Dale Ellard, Walter, Ellard, rip Dayton, Charlie
Doughty, Dean Doyle, Harvey Smith and Harvey Lee Boyd.
