McNeely, 86, of Jena, died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 1990 at the LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena. She was a homemaker and member of East Jena Baptist Church. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 9th at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Truman Leach, officiating. Interment followed at Jena Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include two daughters, Berdina Nix and Mildred Hudson, both of Jena; a sister, Edna Stringer of Jena; a half-brother, Elmo Edwards of Port Arthur, Texas; a half-sister, Edwina Deville of Forest Hill; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Doc Eubanks, Richard Eubanks, Robert Crooks, Charles Arnold, Douglas Powell and Burl Clark.
