Stella E. McLendon

Stella Elizabeth McLendon, 91, of jena, died at 1:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30,
1990 at the LaSalle General Hospital of jena.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, at the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Rev. Troy Cockerham and Ronnie Crosby,
officiating.

Burial followed in Squires Cemetery of Summerville under direction of Hixson
Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include a son, Ernest McLendon of Trout; two daughters, Myrtle
Maxwell of Trout and Ethell Modisette of South Houston, Texas; 12
grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Raymond Eubanks Jr., George Davidson, Lowell McLendon, dean
Cockerham, Ronnie McLendon and Joe Hanes.
