Luther J. McMillin

Luther J. McMillin, 94, of Manifest, died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, August 9, at
the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena.

He was a retired farmer and member of Pisgah Baptist Church of Manifest where
he served as a deacon.

Services were scheduled for 10:00 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Pisgah Baptist
Church of manifest with the Revs. Jack Colclasure and Gove Walker officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of
Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Wright McMillin of Manifest; four daughters,
Dorothea Drum of Long Beach, Calif.; Iris Seyfert and LaVerne Watkins, both of
Houston, Texas and Verda Reeves of Manifest; a son, Shelton McMillin of Jena;
17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Watkins, Steve Watkins, Donald Seyfert, Larry
Reeves, Roger Reeves and Gary McMillin.
