Headline:  Marie Devall Hibbard McLendon

Marie Devall Hibbard McLendon, 81, of West Monroe, died Wednesday, December 28, 1988, 
at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe.

She was a native of Jena and a member of the Summerville Baptist Church.

Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Summerville Cemetery near Jena 
with Rev. Kenneth Boyd officiating.  Burial followed at the cemetery under arrangements 
by Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty Ellis of West Monroe; two sons, Walter J. 
Hibbard of Rayville and Henry C. Hibbard of Trout; a stepson, Ellis R. McLendon of Jena; 
a sister, Mrs. Pearl Humphries of West Monroe; nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Donald Weed, Jo A. Hibbard, Bert T. Hibbard III, Walter J. Hibbard II, 
Johnny M. Townsend and Billy D. King.  Honorary pallbearers were Gary Sloan and Brian 
Wilson.
