Obituary of John Wade Nix, Sr.

 Funeral services for John Wade Nix, Sr., 57, of Jena were held at the 
Midway Baptist Church at 3:30 Tuesday, Aug.28th with the Rev. Jerry Poston,
pastor and the Rev, J.P. Walsworth, of Pineville officiating.

Interment was at the Belah Cemetery.

 Survivors are his widow, Mrs. John Nix, Sr., one son, John, Jr., one brother,
Clarence N., of Natchez, Miss.; six sisters, Mrs. William  Hewitt, Mar.
Bertram Kettringham, Mrs. Wade guice, of Natchez, Mrs.  Charles Field of
Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. O.F. Langsford, of Atlanta, Ga. Mrs. H.M. Wise, of
Jena; grandchildren, Debbie Ilene and Robert Wade.
 Pall bearers were I.D. Smith, Roy Robertson, Doug Ford, Nick Medica, Ted
Trichel and Alex Floyd.
