NUGENT, Rev. Richard B.

 Rev. Richard B. Nugent, 59, of Pineville, died at the Huey P. Long Hospital
in Pineville on Tuesday, March 5, 1974. He was an electrician and a member of
the Baptist church.

 Funeral services were held Tuesday at the New Union Baptist Church of near 
Tullos with Revs. Morris Goins, Hollis Miles and Paul Nugent, officiating.

 Interment followed at New Union Cemetery of near Tullos with arrangements
directed by Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

 Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lula Poland Nugent of Pineville; two
step-daughters, Mrs. Connie Johnson of Pineville and Mrs. Barbara Maxey of
Tioga; two brothers, Johnnie Nugent of Pine Prarie and Hugh Nugent of Tullos;
four sisters, Mrs. Martha West of Pine Prarie, Mrs. Barbara Allbritton, Mrs.
Minnie Summerall, and Mrs. Hattie Allbritton, all of Tullos; and two
step-grandchildren.
