He was a crane operator in the oil field industry. Services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday), December 30, 1998, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Dan Davis and Jerry Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the New Union Cemetery north of Tullos under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. If Jena. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Nolker of Abbeville; one daughter, Lori Nolker of Columbia; one son, Stephen Nolker of Jena; his mother, Totsie Nolker of Tullos; one sister Nancy Harrison of Abbeville; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Arbogast, Shelby Loe, tim Mitchell, James Flores, Shawn Deville, and Twyman Abbleby. Honorary pallbearer will be Buster Nugent, Robert Ivey, Brad Peltier, Billy Savoy, J. J. savoy, Steve LaBlanc, and Brian LeBlanc.
