LOIS KING NUNNALLY

     Lois King Nunnally, 66, of Bastrop, and formerly of Jena, died at her
residence in Bastrop on Tuesday, February 28, 1989, after a brief illness.

     Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Goldens Funeral Home in
Bastrop.  She was buried in the Chidester Cemetery at Chidester, Arkansas.

     Survivors include her husband, W.  J.  Nunnally Jr. of Bastrop; two
daughters, Carol Jena Hardcastle of Bentonville, Ark.  And Mary Elizabeth
Borthick of Springfield, Tenn.; a son, William John (Bill) Nunnally, III,
administrator of LaSalle Nursing Home, Jena; and five grandchildren.
