Margaret Brown Otwell, 101 of Jena, Louisiana went home to be with her Lord on
Wednesday, April 4, 2012.



She was born Sunday, September 25, 1910 to the union of Terry Brown and Mildred Kite
Brown in LaSalle 
Parish.



Mrs. Otwell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Otwell, Sr.;
daughter, Helen E. Otwell; son, 
John B. Otwell Jr.; six brothers, Terry Brown, Addison Brown, James Brown, John
Brown, William Brown 
and Asaph Brown, six sisters, Mildred Brown, Louise Morton, Nora Praetorius, Elsie
Brown, Sara Montano 
and Mary Edmunson.



Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Bessie O. Sanders & husband Henry;
five grandchildren; 
six great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and
nephews.



Services were held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Nolley Memorial United
Methodist Church with 
the Rev. Daniel Hixon and Rev. Amanda Carpenter officiating. Mrs. Otwell was laid to
rest in the Pentecost 
Cemetery, Jena, LA. under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.



Serving as pallbearers, Keith Tarver, Danny Majors, Tom Kendrick, Louis Webster,
James Montano, Steve 
Kendrick.
