Headline:  Miss Lizzie Allen

Funeral services for Miss Lizzie Allen, 71, who died at her home, January 21 
at 10:45, were held at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Lee Brooks of 
Rhinehart officiating.  Interment took place at the Oak Grove Cemetery under 
the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena.

Miss Allen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Allen.  She was born in 
Catahoula Parish but has been a resident of this community all of her life.

She is survived by her two brothers, William Allen of Rhinehart and James W. 
Allen of Jena and three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Edwards of Rhinehart, Mrs. W. M. 
Hawkins of Rhinehart, and Mrs. O. M. Knapp of Chicago, Ill.
