Adams, Tolbert Marshall

Olla - Services for Tolbert Marshall (Spot) Adams, 58, will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday in Shady Grove Baptist Church near Olla with the Rev. Doris Dearman
officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son
Funeral Home of Columbia. 

Mr. Adams died Feb 24, 1981 at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania after a
long illness.

He was a World War II veteran and a retired lumber grader.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Adams of Olla; five daughters, Mrs.
Sandra Foley of New Orleans, Mrs. Esther Brazell of Jena, Tina Marie Adams,
Mary "Kim" Adams and Toby Lynn Adams, all of Olla; two sons, O'Neil Adams of
Olla and Louis Adams of Spaulding; three brothers, Farrell Adams of
Maryville, Pete Adams of Olla and Jack Adams of Colorado Springs, Colo.;
seven sisters, Mrs. Fannie McCarty of Pollock, Mrs. Audie Mayes and Mrs.
Clara Johnson, both of Urania, Mrs. Christene Mayes of Kelly, Mrs. Allie
Thompson of Maryville, Mrs. Carolyn Sanders of Shreveport, and Mrs. Katie
Jones of Olla; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the church until time of service.
