"Bill" Allbritton, 92, of Jena, died at 8:15 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2001, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. He was a retired insurance saleman and a member of the First Baptist Church of Jena. He was born Sept. 2, 1908, at Aimwell. Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 28, at the chapel of First Baptist Church of Jena with Rev. Dominick DiCarlo officiating. Interment followed in Woodland Cemtery of Jena under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. He is survived by his wife, Melba Richardson Allbritton of Jena. Pallbearers were Morgan Baker, Dixie Wilson, Norman welch, Sam Baker, Jay Joy, and Frank Darsay. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Doughty, earl Doughty, and John Barrett.
