Headline: Fred P. Althaus Dies at Baptist Hospital; Funeral Rites Sunday

Fred P. Althaus, 34, who died at the Baptist Hospital in Alexandria Saturday, 
August 14, was buried at the cemetery of his wife's family near Fayette, 
miss.  Mrs. Althaus is the former Miss Johnnine Irene Colter.

The funeral rites were held Sunday at 10 a.m.

He is survived by his father, P. Althaus of Minnesota; his wife; one stepson, 
Davis Taylor Prestridge, Jr., Jena; three stepdaughters, Bobby Rene, Barbara 
Jean, and Frances Evelyn Prestridge.

Hixson Brothers was in charge of the funeral.
