All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Last Rites Held For Tom Green Bradford, March 6 One of LaSalle's oldest citizens passed away March 6, Mr. Tom Green Bradford, who was born in LaSalle parish and spent practically all of his life here, was 85 years of age. He was the son of Dave Bradford, deceased and was a farmer by occupation. He was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services were held March 7 at the Heard cemetery at 3 p.m. Rev. Thompson Doughty of Manifest officiated. Interment took place at the same cemetery, near Manifest, under direction of Riser and Upshwaw Funeral Home of Jena. Surviving are: Lacey and Dave Bradford of Manifest, sons; Mattie McClendon of Trout and Mary Bell Bradford of Manifest; daughters; Mrs. W.O. Smith and Mattie E. Taylor of Jena and Mrs. Bell Hailey of Nebo, sisters; Ben Bradford of Jena and Jim W. Bradford of Walters, brothers; and three grandchildren.
