Barr by the Michael Dempsey Lodge, No. 327, and were handed to The Jena Times for publication. Resolutions of Respect to the Memory of Brother Samuel M. Barr. Whereas, the Supreme Architect of the Universe, in His infinite wisdom has seen fit to remove from our midst one of our highly respected and beloved members; and Whereas, his untimely passing has caused a cloud of sorrow in our lodge and in the hearts of all its members and has removed from this earthly stage of action not only one of our beloved members but a faithful husband and upright citizen. Therefore, be it resolved, that these resolutions of respect to the memory of our lamented brother Samuel M. Barr be spread upon the minutes of this Michael Dempsey Lodge No. 327, F. & A. M., as a perpetual token of our respect for his life, that a copy of same be published in The Jena Times, and one copy be sent to the family of the deceased with the deepest sympathy from this lodge and its members.
