Bass Funeral services for William W. Bass, 73 years, 11 months, well known farmer of Catahoula Parish who died at his residence July 14 at 1:30 am, were held at the Lake Lilly Church July 15 at 10 am with Rev. Burton A. Miley of Harrisonburg officiating. Interment took place at the Heard's Cemetery near Manifest under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena. Deceased was a member of the Lake Lilly Baptist Church. He was born in Catahoula Parish where he spent most of his lifetime. Surviving are Mrs. W. W. Bass, widow; Tom Albert, Bennie Richard, Meloy Bass of Jonesville, sons; Mrs. J. T. Tannehill of Olla, Mrs. Blanch Richmond of Epps, Mrs. Quinnie Bass of Jonesville, Mrs. Connie McKaskle of Jonesville; and E. E. Bass of Jonesville, brother, 41 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
