Headline:  Father of Jena Men Dies at Grant Parish Home on October 6

Mr. L. E. Bronson, 54 years of age, father of J. R. (Jimmy) Bronson, mechanic 
at the C. I. Humphries Garage and A. J. Bronson, also of Jena, died at his 
home in Grant Parish near Colfax last Thursday afternoon, October 6, at 1:20 
o'clock.

Funeral services were held at Oak Grove Cemetery near Colfax at 2 pm Friday, 
the services being conducted by the Rev. Sherwood, of Winnfield.

The deceased is survived by his widow and eight children, five daughters, and 
three sons, as follows:  Mrs. Carrie Futrell of Colfax; Misses Hattie, Evie, 
Ethel and Jewell Bronson, also of Colfax, and Messrs. J. R. and A. J. 
Bronson, of Jena.

Those from here attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bronson and 
children, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Bronson and baby, and Mr. and Mrs. C. I. 
Humphries.
