Suffering from influenza, she developed pneumonia, which was given as the cause of her death. Mrs. Babcock had been a resident of the Urania community for several years and was a member of the Eastern Star at that place. She was also president of the LaSalle Parish Council of Home Demonstration Clubs and took an active part in all club, social, and religious work of the parish and her community. Funeral services were held at Urania Saturday at 2 pm with interment following in the Olla Cemetery. Reverends Kitchenham, Bridges, and Daffin performed the services which were under the direction of Kinner & Stevens, Jena undertakers. The deceased is survived by her husband and one son, Milton, both of Urania.
