Bamburg Dies in Shreveport Sunday, Feb. 23rd Mrs. Celia Bamburg, 57, wife of Rev. R. H. Bamburg of Coushatta, died at the Highland Sanitarium in Shreveport on Sunday morning, February 23. Rev. Bamburg was pastor of the Trout-Good Pine Methodist Churches in 1927 and '28 and of the Olla-Standard Church in 1930-31. Mrs. Bamburg's faithful and untiring work in these churches during the time her husband was pastor there endeared her to the hearts of the members of the churches and to the other citizens of the communities who learn with deep sorrow of her death. Mrs. W. K. Pepper of Trout is a daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Bamburg. Funeral services were held at the Armstead Chapel Cemetery near Coushatta on Monday afternoon at one o'clock. Surviving the deceased are three daughters, Mrs. Bell Frank of Bell Plain, Minn., Mrs. W. K. Pepper of Trout and Mrs. Paul Burton of Oil City; two sons, H. L. Bamburg of Houston, Texas, and S??ule Bamburg of Coushatta; one brother, John M. Lindsey of DeQuincy, La., and one sister, Mrs. J. F. Thomley of Coushatta.
