Headline:  Mrs. Mindia Brown is Buried on Monday

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Jena Church of God for Mrs. 
Mindia Brown, 60, who died at her home Sunday.

The Revs. Elbert Jones and James Miller conducted the final rites, with 
interment following in a cemetery at Libuse under the direction of Riser and 
Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, F. E. Brown; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth 
Howard of Monroe; two sons, A. V. Thomas of Jonesboro and Earl Thomas of 
Deville; two stepsons, H. C. Brown of Sicily Island and Emmit Brown of Jena; 
a stepdaughter, Mrs. Faye Hopkins of Jena, a brother, Jeff Huffman of Jena; 
seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
