A heart attack reported was the cause of death. Mrs. Bond, 47 years of age, is survived by her father, Purl Wiggins of Jonesville; two brothers, Woodie Wiggins of Jonesville and Perry Wiggins of Brunswick, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Inez Collins of Jonesville, Mrs. Rosa Powdrill of Pineville, and Mrs. Marie Stockwell of Waterford, Wisc. Mrs. Bond's husband was killed several years ago in a truck accident. The Rev. Harold Davis, the Rev. Larry Walker and the Rev. W. M. Hailey conducted the final rites, with interment in the Jena Cemetery being under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Serving as pallbearers were Bill Emerick, Carlos Doughty, Willie Walker, Mack Bass, Arthur McMillin and Charlie Doughty.
