Headline:  Area Deaths

Margaret I. Beavers, 82, of Jena, died at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 1999, 
at LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena.

She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 10, in the chapel of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. S. B. Spinks and Albert Vickers 
officiating.

Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Hixson 
Brothers, Inc., of Jena.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Beavers McFadden of Houston, Tx., and 
Bonnie Ewing of Jonesville; one son, Bobby R. Beavers of Monroe; one brother, 
James Parker of Denton, Tx.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tim Mitchell, Dale Mitchell, Bill Appleby, Twyman Appleby, 
Jeff Ewing, and Judas Gunter.
