Headline:  Margaret Browning

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Rowena Browning, 85, lifelong resident of 
LaSalle Parish, who died at her residence June 15 at 11:15 p. m., were held 
June 16 at 2 p. m., with Rev. B. D. Watson of Jena officiating.  Interment 
took place at the Forsythe Cemetery near Jena under the direction of Riser 
and Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena.

Mrs. Browning was a member of the Methodist Nolly Memorial Church of Jena and 
leaves the following relatives and a host of friends to mourn her passing:  
Mrs. Lula B. Sheppard of Jena, and Mrs. Moise B. Fuller of Shreveport, 
daughters; Yank Baker of Gueydan, brother; Mrs. Sallie Dorsey of 
Harrisonburg, sisters; and Mrs. Lillie Perrin of Galveston, Tex., half-sister.
