Mr. Boothe, who was born at McNeair, Miss., on January 21, 1863, but who had lived a greater part of his life at Harrisonburg, is survived by his wife; three sons, Stetson Boothe and Louis B. Boothe and Dave Boothe, all of Harrisonburg, four daughters, Mrs. Clara Williams and Mrs. Rose Ferguson, both of Winnsboro, Mrs. A. J. Hudson, of Monroe, and Mrs. Charles Hinkle of Verdunville; and 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence with Rev. Burton Miley and Rev. Tom Mayor officiating. Interment was made at Sicily Island Hill, under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena. Active pallbearers were his grandsons who are Allen Boothe, Louis E. Boothe, C. L. Hinkle, E. C. Williams, A. J. Hudson, Jr., and Daniel Boothe. (NOTE: Check spelling of city of birth.
