She was a homemaker and member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was born Sept. 13, 1905, in Natchitoches Parish. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday (today) Aug. 9, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Preston Holder and hardy Beaubouef officiating. Interment will follow in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Inc., of Jena. Survivors include five daughters, Juanita Young of Orange, Tx., Neva Tarpley of Pollock, Melba Poole and Pat Harris, both of Jena and Jearlene Johnson of Jonesville; two sons, Larry Campbell and Doyle Bignar, both of Jena; 20 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Raymond Young, Larry Campbell, J.C. Campbell, Monte Campbell, Mike Bignar and David Ray Poole.
