Headline:  Catahoula Pioneer Lady Dies at Her Harrisonburg Home

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Barr, 81, of Harrisonburg, who died here at 
the home of her son, Frank Barr, were held at Silome Church with Rev. 
Thompson Doughty officiating.  Mrs. Barr had been in ill health for the past 
18 months.

Surviving Mrs. Barr are two sons, Frank Barr and Wilburn Barr, of 
Harrisonburg; one daughter, Mrs. W. M. Price of Rayville; two brothers, David 
Frazier and Joseph Frazier of Franklin, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Ella 
Gilmore and Mrs. Ida Nalley of Turkey, Texas, and Mrs. Ann Reynolds of Tyler, 
Texas; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
