She was the widow of Robert Bruce Bell. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery at Deville. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Rush and Mrs. Gertrude Aycock, both of Buckeye, Mrs. Hattie Bunch and Miss Christine Bell of Pineville, and Mrs. Cadder Robertson of Ball; two sons, Vernon F. Bell of New Iberia and J. D. Bell of Pineville; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Bell and Mrs. Carrier Scroggs, both of Jena, Mrs. Mary Chevallier of Walters and Mrs. Effie Ward of Brockton, Mass.; a brother, Lon Arthur of Jonesville; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
