Sub-Headline: Barry Kent Bond

Barry Kent Bond, 47, of Manifest, died at 1:30 a.m., Tuesday morning, 
September 21, 1999, at LaSalle General Hospital from injuries he sustained in 
an accident near his home at Manifest.

He was employed in the oil field industry and was a veteran of the United 
States Army.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday), Sept. 22, in the chapel of 
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Carl Gulde, Jim Taylor, 
and Ralph Webber officiating.

Interment will follow in Galvins Creek Cemetery of Whitehall under direction 
of Hixson Brothers Inc., of Jena.

Survivors include one son, Lance Bond of Jena; his mother, Lucille Bond of 
Jonesville; two brothers, Brian Bond of Jena and Randy Bond of Lafayette.

Pallbearers will be Brian David Bond, Craig Bond, Michael Crooks, Brad 
Pritchard, Archie Morris and Derek Calk.
