Butler Dies Sunday, April 20 Funeral services for James S. Butler, 79 years, 8 months, and 18 days old, who died of bronchial pneumonia at a Pineville Hospital April 20, at 1:35 p.m., were held April 21 at the Belah Church at 2:30 p.m. with the Methodist Minister of Trout officiating. Interment took place at the same cemetery near Jena, under direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral home. Deceased was born in Elmon County, Alabama, but has resided in LaSalle Parish, the past 55 years. He is survived by four sons, J. H., C. B. B. H., and T. R. Butler of Jena, and one daughter, Pearl Butler of Jena.
