He had been a resident of the Jena area, living on Nebo route, for approximately 20 years. Unmarried and a farmer by occupation, Mr. Brian is survived by two brothers, Iley and Eugene, both of Nebo route, Jena, and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Adams of Nebo route, and Mrs. Mary Cook of Jena. The Rev. O. G. Cannon conducted the final rites at the Crossroads Baptist Church, with interment following in the Tidewell Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Serving as pallbearers for the final rites were Odie Coon, William Coon, J. D. Brian, Randall Brian, Henry Adams and Wade Coon.
