HEADLINE: Area Deaths

SUB-HEADLINE: Sweetie Nell Barton

Sweetie Nell Barton, 73, of Olla, died Tuesday, October 17, 2000, at Hardtner
Medical Center in Urania.

She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, October 19, at Pine Hill Baptist
Church of urania with the Revs. Alan Wilson, Bobby Cruse, and Ron Bray
officiating.

Interment followed in the Harris Chapel Cemetery near Olla under direction of
Riser Funeral Home of Olla.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Barton of Urania; two daughters, Skyla Ford
of Brownsville, Texas, and Lennie Hatton of Olla; one sister, Marie Gilliam of
Olla; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ray Lynn Hatton, Casey Barton, Adam Barton, Randy Elliott,
Shane Hendrix, and Lee Scribner.
