Toren C. Bearden, 19 of Olla, was found around 4 p.m., Thursday afternoon in a wooded area near the Olla airport. A boy who was riding a bicycle in the area found the body. He notified LaSalle Deputy Sheriff Gary Taylor who lies near the location. Bearden was pronounced dead at the scene by LaSalle Assistant Coroner Danny Brown and the body was taken to Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe for autopsy. FUNERAL SERVICES Services for Toren Christopher Bearden were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 1987, at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Vick Carter and Norris Curry, officiating. Burial followed at Pine Hill Cemetery of Olla with arrangements by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Carol White Tidwell of Tullos; his father, Edward Jerald Bearden of Olla; two brothers, Brent Edward Bearden and William Clint Bearden, both of West Monroe; two sisters, Holly Michelle Blazier of Olla and Stephanie Carol Black of Epps; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Bearden of Olla and maternal grandmother Mrs. Sylvia White Peavey of Tullos.
