Died in an Alexandria hospital, Friday, Dec. 3, at about 9:15 p.m. Cause of death was given as heart trouble. Services for Mr. Calhoun were held in the Calhoun home, Archie, La., at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, with Rev. Stokes of Winnfield and Rev. Killey of Jonesville conducting the service. Interment was in the Harrisonburg Cemetary at Harrisonburg, La., Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home in charge. Survivors of the deceased are: Mrs. Zadie Calhoun, wife; one son, W.F. Calhoun, JR., and two daughters, Zadie Neally Calhoun and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy. Mr. Calhoun was born at Jonesville, La., Jan. 21, 1894 and had lived in this section all of his life. At one time he was State Represenative and at the time of his death was a member of the Louisiana Casualty Commission.
