Headline:  D. Coney Dies at Jonesville Home on Saturday Morning

Dr. W. C. Coney, aged 66, and director of the Catahoula Parish Health Unit, 
died at his home in Jonesville at 4 o'clock Saturday monring after a short 
illness.

Funeral services were held at the family home at 2:30 pm, interment following 
in the Harrisonburg Cemetery.  Rev Price, Baptist minister of Jonesville, 
officiated and the arrangements were under the direction of Kinner and 
Stevens, Jena undertakers.

The deceased is survived by his wife, one son, and two daughters, as well as 
a score of friends and other relatives.  He had been a resident of the 
Jonesville section practically his entire life.
