H. Clark, 74, of Parham, La., sister of Mrs. W. G. Edwards of this city, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Willard Simmons in Boyce on Thursday, June 13. Funeral services were held on Friday at Pinegrove with Rev. L. D. Posey officiating. Mrs. Clark was only ill for one week and her death came as a shock to her many friends and relatives in this section. Surviving are seven children: Albert Clark, of Columbia; Sam Clark of Shreveport; John Clark, Columbia; Mrs. Simpson Spanks and Mrs. Sherfield, Parham; Mrs. Jim LaCroix, Vidalia and Mrs. Willard Simmons, Boyce. Also several nephews and nieces.
