Sherwood officiating. He was born in Winn Parish, but has been a resident of this community practically all of his life. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Ursey Chapel, near Selma. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. G. W. Cupp of Georgetown; two daughters, Mrs. Horace Dietzel of Georgetown, and Mrs. Earl Davidson of Rochelle; two sons Randolph Cupp of Rochelle, also 12 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena and interment took place at the Georgetown Cemetery. (NOTE: 2nd son not named in obituary, although referenced.)
