Headline:  Deaths, George Washington Cupp

Funeral services for George Washington Cupp, 68 years, who died on January 13 
at 1 pm at his home with pneumonia, were held January 14 at the Georgetown 
Baptist Church at 3 pm with Rev. Sherwood officiating.

He was born in Winn Parish, but has been a resident of this community 
practically all of his life.  He was a member of the Methodist Church at 
Ursey Chapel, near Selma.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. G. W. Cupp of Georgetown; two daughters, 
Mrs. Horace Dietzel of Georgetown, and Mrs. Earl Davidson of Rochelle; two 
sons Randolph Cupp of Rochelle, also 12 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral 
Home of Jena and interment took place at the Georgetown Cemetery.
